Oleg Leonidovich Lomakin was born August 29, 1924 in the town of Krasny Kholm, Tver Province, USSR.
In 1952 Oleg Lomakin graduated from the Repin Institute of Arts in Boris Ioganson workshop.
He studied of Mikhail Platunov, Leonid Ovsannikov, Alexander Zaytsev.
Since 1952 Oleg Lomakin has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted portraits, genre and historical paintings, landscapes.
Oleg Lomakin was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1952.
A Honored Artist of Russian Federation (1981).
Oleg Leonidovich Lomakin died in Saint Petersburg in 2010.
