Живописец, работал в жанре тематической картины, портрета. Окончил Ленинградский институт живописи, скульптуры и архитектуры им. И.Е. Репина (1957). В Новокузнецке жил с 1957. Участник выставок с 1957: городских, областных, республиканских, всесоюзных.
Член СХ с 1960.
После смерти художника все его произведения, включая и академические постановки, были переданы из Новокузнецкого отделения ХФ в фонды НМИИ.
