Russov Lev Alexandrovich
(1926-1988)




Lev Alexandrovich Russov was born January 31, 1926 in the Leningrad.
In 1947 Lev Russov graduated from Tavricheskaya Art School.
In 1948-1949 Lev Russov studied of Yuri Neprintsev and Genrikh Pavlovsky in the Repin Institute of Arts.
Since 1954 Lev Russov has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted portraits, genre scenes and historical paintings, still-lifes, worked as graphic artist and in wood sculpture.
Lev Russov was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1955.
Lev Alexandrovich Russov died in Leningrad in 1988.
Paintings by Lev Russov are in Art museums and private collections in the Russia, France, Sweden, in the U.S., England, Italy, and throughout the world.
