Gorb Vladimir Alexandrovich
(1903 - 1988)

Vladimir Alexandrovich Gorb was born December 31, 1903 in the city of Odessa, Ukraine, Russian Empire.
In 1930 Vladimir Gorb graduated from the Leningrad VKHUTEIN.
He studied of Alexander Savinov, Arcady Rylov, Alexander Karev, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Pavel Naumov, Dmitry Kiplik.
Since 1925 Vladimir Gorb has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted portraits, landscapes, still-lifes, genre scenes.
His personal exhibition was in Leningrad in 1967.
Vladimir Gorb was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1937.
In 1930-1979 Vladimir Gorb taught in Secondary Art School and Repin Institute of Arts, professor of painting (1972-1979).
In 1970 he was awarded the honorary title of the Honored Art Worker of Russian Federation.
Vladimir Alexandrovich Gorb died in Leningrad in 1988.
