Leonid Anisimovich Tkachenko was born March 8, 1927 in Pyatigorsk, Northern Caucas, USSR.
In 1950 Leonid Tkachenko graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute.
Since 1950 Leonid Tkachenko has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted portraits, genre paintings, still lifes, landscapes.
Leonid Tkachenko worked his way from the traditional realistic painting to abstract and conceptual art.
His personal exhibition was in Leningrad in 1983.
Leonid Anisimovich Tkachenko is a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 1951.
