Krantz Vladimir Pavlovich
(1913-2003)

Vladimir Pavlovich Krantz was born February 17, 1913 in the town Mozdok, Northern Caucas, Russian Empire.
In 1940 Vladimir Krantz graduated from the Architectural Department of the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute.
Since 1957 Vladimir Krantz has participated in Art Exhibitions.
He painted genre scenes, landscapes, cityscapes, still lifes.
Most famous for his lyrical landscapes.
His personal exhibitions were in Leningrad (1964, 1977, 1991), and in Saint Petersburg (1992, 1995, 2002).
Vladimir Krantz was a member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1972.
Vladimir Pavlovich Krantz died in Saint Petersburg in 2003.
Paintings by Vladimir Krantz reside in Art museums and private collections in the Russia, Japan, Germane, Finland, England, Norway, in the U.S., and throughout the world.
